I'm trying to cook from at least one vintage recipe a week and this week I made Nut Vegetable Loaf, from the 1952 cookbooklet 500 Tasty Snacks. It was really good! I made a few minor adjustments (such as adding spices and an extra egg, to make it hold together better), but think this one is a winner! It's even vegetarian, which was NOT typical for an entree in 1952!
