Vintage Cookbook Friday Fun

Here are a couple of gems from the Today's Woman Cook Book (1953).  First up, "Flavor-ize Your Canned Vegetables."  Booze helps, too!


This one is from the same book, but it fell out of the book and wasn't actually published in it.  It's a recipe for rum balls, written out on an old computer punch card.  I LOVE finding things like this in my vintage cookbooks!  It's a pretty good recipe, but I'd up the rum. ;)
