SPAM Cans Make Great Accessories
I'm very excited that SPAM liked the accessories I made with their cans, for our "Lovely Luau Featuring SPAM" episode a while back! Recycling can be stylish! Get it? CAN? I crack myself up.

Catching Up
Things have been crazy around here! First of all, we have a new episode AND a new handy household hint online! Click here to watch our episode, shot at New York City's fabulous tiki bar, Otto's Shrunken Head, and click here to see our brand new hint, all about seashells and the many ways in which they can enhance our lives!
Next up: We celebrate the birthday of one of our favorite people, Liberace! That will be online May 13.
I'm pleased to report the weather is finally nice enough here to spend time in our tiki room! Over the past week I've been in two fabulous home tiki bars, which always gives me the itch to switch ours up. A friend gave us this giant TV, which we incorporated into the room. We plan to get it working, so we can watch "Hawaii Five-O" and other such programming out there. If it's a goner, we'll use it as a bar or other display unit!

National Stress Awareness Month
We have a new episode online, "Velveteen Lounge Kitsch-en Observes National Stress Awareness Month!" While stress may be an unfortunate aspect of life, it can be managed and even channeled as a force for good! Click here to see!
Speaking of stress, some good stress has been happening around the Kitsch-en, thanks to a crazy schedule! In the past week I've recorded a song for an upcoming (look for it in May) musical episode, we've shot footage for three separate Kitsch-en projects and I attended a two day boot camp at the Culinary Institute of America! That was really a great experience. I learned a ton, ate a ton of great food, met some nice folks and realized what a great resource we have in The Culinary (that's what they call it there) only an hour away from us. I definitely plan to take more classes in the future!
